Very good results in CHE-ranking
The program has recently been evaluated by the prestigious CHE (Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung): all over Germany students have been asked to evaluate the programme as a whole, the study conditions, as well as the relations between teachers and students. Geodesy and Geoinformatics at Leibniz Universität Hannover has been ranked top with respect to mentoring and assistance, especially in the entry phase. Also students are enthusiastic about the good contact and support among the students.
Prof. Schön, Study Dean of the programme, is convinced that “the result shows that an intensive mentoring and support from the very beginning pays off with well educated and happy students.” He continues: “Geodesy and Geoinformatics is a small programme and thus not so well known in the public – but is has a lot to offer, especially concerning early contact with research an excellent job perspectives. The close collaboration between teachers and students allows to include current trends of our diverse professional field into the programme in an optimal way.”
